What is MindReset?
MindReset is a self-help space. It's a quiet place to reflect, notice where you are, and choose what comes next, at your own pace. It isn't therapy, counselling, or medical care.
Is MindReset therapy?
No. MindReset is not therapy, counselling, diagnosis, or treatment, and it isn't a substitute for professional help. If you need clinical support, please speak to a doctor or a qualified professional.
What is MiniMind?
MiniMind is your daily companion inside MindReset. You can use it to reflect, talk things through, and find a bit of steadiness. You say as much or as little as you like, and it responds to what you share.
How do I get started?
Open MiniMind and begin typing whenever you're ready. There's nothing to set up and no right way to start — even a few minutes is enough.
Can I speak instead of typing?
Yes. You can type or speak to MiniMind — whichever feels easier. If you speak, your words are turned into text so you can read them back and edit before sending. You can switch between typing and speaking any time.
Is it free?
You begin with 50 free messages, and you don't need to enter a card to use them. There's no time limit on them, so you can use them whenever the moment matters.
What happens after my 50 free messages?
If you'd like to keep going, you can choose a subscription — Essential or Extended — or add a one-off top-up. There's no pressure to choose, and nothing happens automatically.
What's the difference between Essential and Extended?
The two plans offer different monthly message allowances. You can see current details, prices, and change your plan any time on your Account page.
What is a top-up?
A top-up adds 200 extra messages as a one-off, on top of whatever plan you're on. It's entirely optional, and you'll never be billed for it automatically.
Will I be charged automatically?
Subscriptions renew on a regular cycle until you cancel, and you'll always know before a renewal. Top-ups are one-off and are never charged automatically. You can cancel a subscription at any time.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel any time from your Account page. You'll keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again after that.
Is my information private?
Yes. We collect as little as possible — no name or address is required to use MiniMind. Your conversations are stored privately and are protected in line with UK data protection law.
Who can see my conversations?
Your conversations are yours. They're stored privately so that only you can access them through your account, and they are never shared or sold.
How long do you keep my conversations?
Your conversation messages are kept for up to 12 months from your last activity, after which they're automatically deleted. You can delete them sooner yourself at any time. We also keep a short summary of the patterns you share, used to personalise your experience across sessions, for as long as your account stays open.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete your conversations at any time from your account settings, and you can delete your account and all associated data — including your saved summary — whenever you like. After a deletion request, your data is permanently erased within 30 days. You can also email us at support@mindreset.ai for help with this.
Can MiniMind give medical or mental-health advice?
No. MiniMind doesn't diagnose, treat, or give medical or clinical advice. It's a space for self-reflection. For anything clinical, please speak to a qualified professional.
What should I do if I'm in crisis or feel unsafe?
MindReset is not a crisis service. If you're in immediate danger, call your local emergency services (999 in the UK). If you're struggling and need someone to talk to right now, you can call Samaritans free on 116 123 (UK), any time, day or night.
Do I need to be a certain age to use MindReset?
Yes. MindReset is for adults aged 18 and over.
What languages does MindReset support?
MindReset is available in English and Russian. You can switch language from your account settings.
Can I use MindReset on my phone?
Yes. MindReset works in your phone's web browser as well as on a computer — there's nothing to install.
